THAT WAS THE SWEETEST MOVIE. EVER. SOOOO FREAKIN' LOVELY, AND EMOTIONAL ASDFGLKSASDF
OK. What made me smile the most is Phillip's cuteness (and oh, his smile). And how he's so romantic, sweet, and sappy, but at times he can be so naughty :))
And some parts really hurt, some parts really made my stomach twist and face cringe in unease. Russell's misadventures were rewarded with their due consequences, and the worst part is that the audience knows it will happen. I couldn't stand watching those parts, but I did. It hurts knowing that they would be separated. And it hurt more that their relationship got cut off abruptly and in a bad mood. Many times I wished Russell would just cut it out and do some legal work; but the power of love (I can't believe I just wrote that) is amazing, ne? He went through all the shit just for Phillip's sake.
And just when I thought he finally kicked the bucket, I cried. Phillip cried, and I cried even more. Then he was there and I was, like, O_O. Phillip's "You fucker" really was appropriate.
I love Jim Carrey's acting. In movies, I know when the bad parts, the parts I can't stand watching, will arrive, and it made my very uneasy. This is especially so in his movies, where the character just goes and fucks up, but in a way that's... cocky, and in an attempt to get people to pay attention to him. It makes me pity the character, so painfully much. And I am saying this as a compliment, because his acting stirred up my emotions. And, God, his expressions :) I still remember the first scene of Bruce Almighty, him with the milk jug and slow-mo running... that was EPIC 8D Ewan McGregor is hot. And he's Scottish, hmmhmm. He's soooooo freakin' adorable as Phillip, and his honest care and love for Russell in this movie is just... <3
