a part of me is dying
Jul. 20th, 2010 23:15Even bits of paper and empty corners in Physics notes seem very inviting... I wanna draw!! Draw!! DRAW! And paint, too. Edward Hopper is AWESOME. I wanna paint like he did. Draw, draw, draw; I just drew some nice doodles of America and England (along with a storyline for a doujinshi I'm SO gonna draw after the A's) today.
And thankfully I've just discovered some nice, and I mean, NICE, songs by some awesome bands. New Found Glory, Bowling for Soup, Secondhand Serenade, and Motion City Soundtrack are ones I have been listening to for quite a while. SQUEEEEEE I just love them! Will glorify them in some future posts when I have the time.
Secondhand Serenade is what I listen to when I feel plain shitty nowadays, which is every morning before assembly. I don't talk, don't care about my surroundings; just try to sleep more while taking in every string of melody coming from my iPod. His music is really emotionally charged and just melts your heart.
My brain's not functioning normally, and i'm physically drained. My mood changes very easily, too. Stupid 2.4 km run. The cookie-cutter method has been horribly applied in every sector of the so-called "all-rounded, holistic" education, even though it's not effective for some (and mind you, it's not a minority). And the teachers won't understand it, either. Those muscle-freaks, they think they're the most understanding teachers in the whole school? You think all 19-year-old girls can run with the same pace?! MY A-LEVEL ART PROJECT IS ZILLIONS OF TIMES MORE IMPORTANT, RELEVANT, AND ENJOYABLE TO DO THAN SOME STUPID, USELESS P.E. TEST. DON'T FUCKIN' WASTE MY TIME AND ENERGY.
...But of course, they won't care, right?
